"Iced tea"
Iced tea was an idea that I got from a photograph I took...somewhere.
What really got my attention was the way the ice cubes were piled up on top of each other,I just thought it was a very nice Abstract-like composition.
Besides the color of the tea was something to die for.
I took the photo and did some cropping so I left out the top and the sides of the glass.
I've never done anything like this before and I'm happy with it.
it is very simple but for me,very attractive.
it was also an adventure for me to try something like this...
Might keep looking closely and carefully to all the cold drinks around me,maybe I'll find something interesting on my next cold "Margarita"
This is a 9"x12" painted on Cold Pressed (Arches) and was painted on Nov. the 16th '15

Wow, this is a beautiful piece, and I like that you described the original inspiration and how you arrived at the composition. I hope to see more work like this. Also, the way you handle color is peaceful and soothing. Lovely.
