"Tropical D-light"

Ok,this is  my latest Watercolor...
I really liked the Abstract shapes of the banana Tree...
The colors, and the light,it was just something that I liked and
decided to paint.
it was a good picture I took while walking I don't know where...
it was kind of a challenge but I'm glad I  did it...
it is a small 9x12 painted in cold pressed (Arches)
and it was finished on June the 26 '12

"Silver Fox Reflections"

This is what I've been working on for the past couple of weeks...
I've been kind of busy and haven't done much painting.
This is a silver cup, probably a pencil holder that I found at my local Art store.
I've never tried to paint silver before and  really wanted to do something like this.
Unfortunately,it was a sunny day when I had my photographic session with the siver
Fox and it was really hard to get a good photo.
I also started my sketch and tried to get the reflections as accurate as I could but I got lost
in the process.
When I started to paint I was very eager and wanted to finish it as soon as possible but
some work got in the way and had to leave it alone for  a week or so.
When I came back to it, somehow; I had lost the "connection" I felt when I started it.
It was kind of fun and I'll probably try to do it again.
I'm going to take it out again and hopefully I'll get the silver effect that I'm looking for.
This was finished on June the 25th '12

"The little monk"

Well,this is another "Old" watercolor...
and I have to admit that I found the picture on flickr...
Unfortunately,I can't remember the name of the   Photographer ...
and obviously,he's the one who deserves all the credit for this beautiful image.
I really couldn't help it,I had to paint it...
I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do it,but I had to try.
I have been a little bit busy and haven't done much painting...
I'm working in a small watercolor that I hope to finish soon...
This was painted on May the 28th '11
